At this, the regular meeting of the Committee of Stewards of Trinity United Church held in the Social Hall, Monday May 15th the following members Were present. Col. H. M. Davison, S. A. McDonald, N. W. Lowther, Isaac Carter, Alex McLeod, Dr. Keeping, Dr. Creelman, Major McKenzie, E. C. Johnson, G. A. Hughes and the Secretary.

Major McKenzie for the Light Committee reported Posts in front of Church had all been fixed.

A communication from the Fire Marshall, 0. A. Beer, rs recharging of Fire Extinguishers Was read. The Chairman stated this had been attended to.

S. A. McDonald, for Janitor's Committee reported that an offer had been made by the Janitor to clean and redecorate Heartz Hall as per contract for the sum of Sixty Dollars, all material to be supplied him, said material not to exceed ten dollars. : Moved by Mr. McDonald, seconded by N. W. Lowther that this offer 2 be accepted. Carried. Mr. McDonald also stated that the Ladie's Aid would contribute half the amount.

Mr. McDonald reporting on behalf of Special Committee re procuring Hymnary said the Ladie's Aid had agreed to contribute’ 1 Two Hundred Dollars. The King's Daughters, One Hundred and fifty Dollars. Young People's Society, Twenty-five Dollars, and the Choir possibly the same amount, a total of Four Hundred Dollars. The Ladie's Aid indicated as their desire, that their money would go tOWards the purchase of the larger books. Mr? McDonald mOVed, ? seconded by Norman Lowther, that the Board purchase Three Hundred large and Three Hundred small books. Carried. Mr. Carter was L authorized to procure these books and advised the board that .‘ payments could be spread over a period of six months. \ The Secretary was instructed to send a letter of Thanks to L the various organizations for their financial assistance. f
