August 29, 1933. The regular monthly meeting of the Committee of Stewards, Trinity United Church, met in the Social Hall Monday August 29th With the following present. Col. H. M. Davison. G. A. Hughes. E. T. Higgs. Alex'McLeod. J. F. Whfiar. F. E. Co will. Harry Cudmore. S. A. McDonald. P. H. Rogers. P. W. Turner. The presentation of the Electric Light Bill for the month occasioned some considerable discussion. The matter was left to the Light Comwittee to investigate and report. The under- , standing being the Bill be paid if found correct. This Comm- ittee was also instructed to clean the centre lights in the Church. Mr. McDonald for Janitors Committee, stated cost of washing floors of Kindergarten and Heartz Hall, would be $35.00 and was instructed to hays the work done. Half the Kindergarten amount to be paid by the School of Music. ‘ The Radio Committee were requested to get their Bill from ~Mr. Bourke and have it paid. On motion of J. F. Whear, seconded by S. A. McDonald, the Secretary was instructed to write a letter to the Secretary of the Trustee Board, notifying that body of the necessity of repairing walls and roof of Heartz Hall and Church. The Chairman referred to the rent of the School of Music, stating that in his oninion the full amount of Five Hundred Dollars (tena.oo) should be paid over to the Committee of Stewards. The general opinion however, seemed to be that the Trustees should use such portion as Was necessary for building repairs, and any balance left over, should then be given to the Stewards. Some discussion took place re the purchase of an Automatic Coal Stoker, but was left in the hands of the Fuel Committee to investigate.- - fir. Colwill asked the opinion of the Committee re putting on a conCert by the Newcomb Concert Co. Matter was referred tn the Music Committee. The Following Bills Were ordered paid.
