The regular monthly meeting of the Committee of Stewards, 1 Trinity United Church met in the social Hall, Monday, Sept.

25th with the following present. Chairman H. M. Davison Messrs. R. H. Rogers, G. A. Hughes, J. A. McKenzie, Dr. Carson, E. T. Higgs, J. F. Whear, Isaac Carter, 3. C. Johnson, N. W. lowther.

On motion, Mr. Lowther was aprointed Secretary.

Minutes of last Meeting were read and approved.

E. T. HiggS, reporting for Fuel Committee re Automati ‘:;u4ué/i;é Stoker, stated the Comwittee advised against purchase. epor of Cammittee was on motion afproved.

The matter of the light bill was again discussed and on motion was referred back to Light Cemwittee to act in con- jenction with the Chairman Col. Davison. A communication from the Maritime Electric Co. was read,and passed over to Light Committee. '

Isaac Carter for Public Property committee reported Fire Extinguishers recharged. Moved bill of Hughes Drug Co. for this work be paid if certified by the janitor. '

Mr. Higgs for Fuel Committee reported shortage of Coal. Quoted prices received as follows:

H. H. Large 97.754per ton_in Cellar A. Pickard & Co. $8.00 per ton cellar for Springhill. H. B. Weeks $7.25 per ton in cellar for Medford.

Committee recommended purchase of one car from Mr. Weeks

at once and two cars frow A. Pickard & Co. Dec. 1st at thirty

days. on motion carried with the understanding the Medford , Coal be screened. Authority was also given Fuel Committee 1 to purchase a load of soft wood, bill to be paid on present-

ation. f
