     The regular monthly meeting of the Committee of 
     
     Stewards, Trinity United Church met on Oct. 16th in 
     
     i; the Social Hall with the following present. Chairman 
     
     3 Col. H. M. Davison, Messrs Isaac Carter, E. C. Johnson, 
     
     F. E. Colwill, G. A. Hughes, J. F. Whear, E. T. Higgs, 
     
     R. H. Rogers, J. A. McKenzie and the Secretary. Minutes 
     
     of last meeting read and approved. 
     
     Mr. Higgs for Fuel Committee reported TWenty tons 
     
     . of coal had been purchased from H. B. Weeks and put in 
     
     g ‘ cellar. ‘ 
     
     J. A. McKenzie for Light Committee presented a copy 
     
     1 of letter which he had Sent-to the Maritime Electric re- 
     
     ‘ questing a lower Berv103 charge for the Electric Range. 
     
     J. Mention was made of the possibility of cutting down on' 
     
     [A the number of our lights, and the matter was left to the 
     
     a} Committee to check into. 
     
     {9 Mr. Carter for Property Committee reported the Trustee 
     
     Board Were attending to outside repairs. He reported pur-

     Regret was expressed at illness of Mr. S. A. McDonald and

     The Chairman brought up the matter of the Every Member 
     
     Canvass. Mr. Whear declared that under present conditions 
     
     he was opposed to it. SeVeral members took part in the en- 
     
     suing discussion, and it was finally decided to leave it to 
     
     the Official Board for action._ /
