First Meeting Committee of Stewards Trinity United Church for the year 1934. Feb. 19th.
Meeting took place in the usual place with the following present. -

Major McKenzie for the Light Committee, introduced Mr. Kier Murray of the Maritime Electric Company, who gave a xhort report re light. Mr. Murray state d present fixtures were out of date, and said that modern fixtures would give twice amount of light.
$23 estimated the cost at $1400. and new wiring essential about 00.
A Motion was carried authorizing Mr. Daniel Williams to purchase for the Session COmmunion Plate and Cups to cost in the vicinity of ¢27.so
The Chairman Col. Davieon welcomed all new members, and state d Mr. W. E. Bourke had refunded $25. 00 out of the amount he had been paid for Radio Service. He also referred to the matter of over- draft at the Bank.
On motion of P. W. Turner, seconded by S. A. McDonald, Col. Davison was, amid applause, again selected Chairman for the coming Year. P. W. Turner was reappointed Secretary. Mr. R. H. Rogers was again named Treasurer, but state d he was unable to act, but agreed to do so for one month until his successor was appointed._ Mr. J. F. Whear was appointed, provisional on his acceptance,
Mr. G. A. Hughes agreed to continue as Financial Secretary.
The following Committees were thenianpointed:- Finance, S. A. McDonald, G. A. Hughes, J. P. Simmonds, Harry Cudmore. Property, A. Pickard. Light, J. A. McKenzie. Janitor, S. A. McDonald. Radio, A. C. Sinclair. Publicity, R. H. Rogers. Additional members to be added next night of meeting.

It was agreed to purchase four push brooms, and grate for small
furnace. It was decided to hold a special meeting Monday Feb. 86th _. at which the yearly estimqtes would be passed. .
The Chairman of the Board was delegated to arrange lectures by Dr. Ramsay and Prof. L. W. Shaw, proceeds of which would be applied to reducing 1933 deficit. E. C. Johnson, E. S. Coffin and Alex McLeod
Were appointed to arrange sale of ticket! Total amount to date for 1934-3835. as total for isss-te;s.ss
