’ \V. The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Stewarts, Trinity United Church, was held in the board room, June 10, 1955. The president, Col. Davison occupied the chair. Members present:- G. A. E. hutch-nothing to report. Public Property—I.Carter-Bill Stanley Shaw & Peardon Paint, oil and turpentine 86.25 Less 5% 5.95 This bill was left over for verification of janitor. Fuel-E. T. diggs-Bill A. Rickard & 00., 4 loakd of coal $56.08 Moved by E. T. fliggs, seconded by C. Smith, bill be paid. Carried Mr. diggs asked for permission to purchase slabs in motor truck loads. The chairman authorized ur. Higgs to make the necessary purchase provided a saving could be made in buying slabs instead of blocks. Electric Light-C. Smith— no report. The committee would like to see lights in Church cleaned. The committee was ordered to proceed with the cleaning. Several electric light globes in front of Church were reported broken. These are to be replaced provided the Electric Light Co., will assume responsibility. Mr. Mutch was instructed to interview Electric Light 00., re adjustment in service charges under new schedule. - Bill ordered paid-Electric Light Co.,- _ $24.91 Publicity-Dr. D. Cost-Out of town manufacture 15¢ each. Mr. Ford, City-15¢ each installed. Mr. Heartz moved that 200 racks be purchased from and installed by Mr. Ford and an inspection of work take place before payment is made. Seconded by E. T. Higgs. Carried. A discussion followed on noise around Church during Sunday ser- vices in morning and evening. hr. Smith was requested to interview Rev. hr. Barbour and have him keep the Junior congregation in session until Church service was over in the morning.
