Estimates ior year 1956 considered a d revised-—Expenditures $10, 790 50 Revenue--$10, 495. 65--—Dif1erence $296. 85 Reports of Committees:- Property-hr. Rickard reported, roof of run way to Heartz nall required repair. Ordered ll loads of clay for Church grounds at 80¢ per load. Mr Storey would like to have an extension ladder to use around the buildings inside. Rails for steps might be re- placed. Other repairs would be attended to when required. Fuel-Sufficient coal on hand for present requirements. Janitor-Mr. Coffin reported he consulted Mr. Howatt in regard to cleaning and paint- ing Social Hall and Choir room and he named a charge of $165.00 for labor and material, and that Mr. Storey would do labor work for $50.00, material would cost $24.50, decided Mr. Storey would do the work and committee requested to inspect Choir room to ascertain what imporvements could be made and look into matter of carpet on plat- form. Radio-Mr. MacKenzie reported some dissatisfaction in regard to Mr. Rogers broadcasting during Church services soliciting public donations. He read correspondence stated his understanding of the agreement and cited Mr. Rogers explanation for doing so, after considerable discussion it was moved byMr. Pickard and seconded by Mr. MacKenzie that a revised and amended agreement be presented to Mr. Burke for signature and in the event of Mr. Burke not signing the same hefbe paid for services already performed. Radio committee with Mr. Pickard to do the amendment work. Following bills ordered paid:— Light 327.00 R. E.
