The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Stewards, Trinity United Church, was held in the board room Monday evening, April 12, 1957, at 7. 50 P. M.

The minutes of the previous meeting March 8th, were read and adop- ted.
Reports of Committees:- Property—C. Smith-Repairs needed to gutters of Heartz Hall.
Bill-H. Hermans-repairing lock of safe- 88.00. Ordered paid.
Reference was made to a letter from the Ladies Aid requesting paving or placing concrete from side-walk to curb in front of Church property on Prince Street. The space is now used to park cars. The property Committee was asked to investigate cost of concrete and paving and to give a report on same at next meeting.
Fuel—I. Carter-Bill for coal A. Pickard & Co.- 3158.58 moved by I. Carter and seconded by W. W. Lord bill be paid when certified. Carried.

Radio-A. Heartz-reported that his committee had presented the matter pertaining to Sunday broadcasting before the official board. This body appointed C. a. Black and O. E. Clawson to act with the radio committee, and make more exten- sive investigations concerning C. F. C. Y. and C H. C. K. who are now funct- ioning under a new management. As Rev. Mr. Miller was out of the city at the time of the official baord meeting, it was decided to take no definite action until his return.

A. B. Fisher reported that envelope'subscribers had been sent cir- cular letters informing them of amount paid during the first quarter.
Other bills presented-the City of Charlottetown for taxes on parson- age, amount due $78. 75. A. Pickard moved that the first instalment of 819. 68 (less 3% discount '58) viz $19.10 be paid, seconded by R. R. Bell. Carried.

Janitor-I. Rix-more hat racks needed for pews of Church. The committee was re-
quested to ascertain number required and report at next meeting. I. Carter informed the board new hymn books\Eere to be procured for the
Church. The property committee was asked to investig te coed of building racks
or containers for hymn books in Hearts and Social Halls. At peesent the books are damaged considerable by being left in the racks on back of the chairs.
The music conndttee requested 825. 00. I. Carter moved that treasurer be authorized to issue check for same. Seconded by F. Chappell. Carried.
