The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Stewards, Trinity United Church was held in the board room Monday evening, January 10th, 1938, at 7.50 P.m,

The minutes of the previous regular meeting December 15th, were read and adopted.

Carried. ”4 _ Mr. Lowther stated that the linolem floor coverings in the Church mere ‘ to receive some dressing in order to facilitate cleaning, estimate cost $5.00, It ‘1 was also suggested that the floor of the social hall receive a "Lacol" iinish (varnish preparation), estimate cost $35.00. The board advised that one 01 the " smaller rooms be tried first and if found to be satisfactory then arrangements could be made to have the social hall attended to later.

Proeerty-C. Smith-The bill from Stanley, Shaw & Peardon for hot Water tank for ,arson- age has not been received to date, estimate cost @20.00. The board advised that the bill be paid when presented and certified.

Treasurers regort-A. Pickard-The board was informed that $1,000.00 would be required in order to balance the books for 1957.

The chairman requested the secretary to call a special meeting of the board, Monday evening, January 17th, at 7.00 and also to arrange for a meeting of the official board for 7.50 the same evening.
