Charlottetown, P. E. 1., July 22nd, 1941.

Dear Sir/ Madam :

Below will be found a statement of your contributions to this Church for the six - month period ended June 30th, 1941, together with the amount you have pledged for the current year.

The total expenditures of your Church for 1941 are estimated at $10,642, and estimated revenue amounts to $9,951, leaving a deficit of $691. Total receipts to June 30th this year amounted to h . $3,784.64, and expenditures for the same period were $4,553.47, which leaves a debit balance for _ ' the half-year of $768.83. This situation will have to be reversed between now and the end of the year if a deficit is to be avoided.

s? The record of Trinity United Church is one of which we may all be proud, and worthy of being maintained. We are not unmindful of the many urgent calls that are being made upon our people during the critical and strenudus times through which we are now passing, but irrespective

I: i of how worthy of support these calls may be you will agree, we are sure, that it is of paramount~~~ importance that the work of our Church should be pursued with ever increasing vigour. To do this effectively requires the united support of all our people. We are taking this opportunity of placing before you the financial position of the Church for the first half of 1941, from which you will observe the need for additional funds is imperative if we are to successfully carry on. The
