The regular Monthly meeting of the Boardrof Stewards of Trinity United Church was held in the Board Room Monday evening, May 9th. at 7.30 P.M.

The Chairman, Mr. R. E. Mutch, presided and the following Stewards were present: Messrs. G.A.Hughes, Reg Taylor, Gordon Avard, Reuel LePage, Hibbert Howatt, Norman Lowther, Gordon Hughes, A.B.Fisher and J.A.MacNair. There were eleven members absent.

The Minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted. The following bills after having been certified as correct by the Chair- men of Committees were on motion ordered paid:

Mr. Howatt speaking for the Property Committee stated his com- mittee had nothing to report. Mr. Lowther of the Janitor Committee reported that Mr. Storey would kalsomine the ceilings and walls of the Social Hall for $60.00, and recommended that the work should be done. Mr. Lowther then moved, seconded by Reuel LePage, that the Janitor Committee be authorized to have the necessary work done. Motion carried.

A letter was read from the Charlottetown Branch of The British & Foreign Bible Society informing us that last summer $h8.95 be- longing to them was stolen from the Office of the Tourist Bureau, and that they decided to ask eachsof the City Churches to assume a pro— portionate part of the loss - Trinity Church amount would be $8.95. On motion this letter was laid on the table till the next meeting, and during the interim your Secretary was instructed to get more

information on the matter.

Treasurer Reg Taylor reported a Bank Balance on hand of $123.27, and bills unpaid amounting to $9h.36.

Mr. G.A.Hughes, Financial Steward, then presented the following financial statement:

On motion of Mr. Fisher, Chairman of the Finance Committee, it was decided to send out a letter to the Members and Adherents of our Church thanking them for their support in the past and informing them

of our present financial position.

Reg Taylor and Renal LePage offered their services in the counting of the Sunday collections for the ensuing month. Nothing further - quOUIREd at 8.30 P. M.
