     The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Stewards of Trinity 
     
     United Church was held in the Board Room Monday evening, September.9th. 
     
     at 7.30 P. M. , . - 
     
    
   
   
    
     The Chairman, Mr. R.E.Mutch presided and the following Stewards_ 
     
     were present: Messrs. G.A.Hughes, W.R.Cruikshank, Isaac Carter, . 
     
     Hibbert Howett, Claude Smith, Hazen Wigmore, Roy Cudmore, Reg.Be11, 
     
     Frank MacKee, W111 MacLeod, E.S.Chandler, George Paterson and Jack

     Mr. Roy Cudmore, Chairman of the Property Committee reported to 
     
     the Meeting that the necessary repairs to the Parsons e and the kitchen 
     
     of the Social Hall had been completed for the sum of _28.00. This amount 
     
     and also that of $76.50 covering the repairs to the abutment on the 
     
     North side of Hearts Hall were paid by the Trustee Board. 
     
    
   
   
    
     Mr. E. S. Chandler, Chairman of the Light Committee, spoke on 
     
     the present condition of the four electric light standards in front of 
     
     the Church. After some discussion it was decided that for the time 
     
     being bulbs would be placed on these standards. 
     
    
   
   
    
     Mr. Claude Smith, Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, after 
     
     ~outlining his program distributed to those present a number of cards 
     
     bearing the names of members and adherents of this Church who are not 
     
     contributing financially, with the hope that the Members of this Board 
     
     would be successful in getting cash contributions from these gentlemen.
