7.30 P. u.

The Chairman, Mr. R.E.Mutch, presided and the following Stewards were present: Messrs. G.A.Hughes, W.R.Cruikshank, W.R.LePage, Hazen Wigmore, Gordon Avard, Warren Lord, Edwin Johnstone, Frank MacKee, George Paterson, Gordon Hutcheson and Jack MacNair.

The Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and on motion adopted.

The following bills after being certified as correct were on motion ordered to be paid:

Mr. Hutch, Mr. Hughes, and several other members of the Board spoke of how gratifying it was to report that whereas we had an overdraft in the \ Bank only a month ago of $1897.79 tonight we have a surplus, and that our 3 books would be closed on the 15th. of January showing a small surplus for 1 the year l9h0. In this connection it was moved, seconded, and unanimously j carried that your Secretary write a letter to The Ladies' Aid and thank 1

5 them for their most generous cheque of 8500.00, which made it possible for 1 the Board to close the year with a surplus.

The following ten Stewards Just retiring from Office, but eligible for re—election, are: Messrs. R.E.Mutch, Alfred Pickard, Isaac Carter,

l.l.Lord, Dr. Waye, Gordon Avard, W.A.Rix, J. Hibbert Howatt, Hasen ligmore and Jack MacNair.
