Mr. n. E. Munch, Chairman of the Property Committee, said that his committee,

together with the Trustees of the Thurch, had met with Mr. Hunter, the Architect, on several occasions and inspected the church prOperty. They found the south

wall of the church to be out of plumb. There is also a bulge on the brick wall in the east end of the church. This appears to be of long standing, and may not be serious. Mr. Hunter's conclusion was that there was no need of doing anything

this year, but that the congregation should be prepared to undertake drastic renovations in the near future. The deterioration of the wood work in the

foundations is probably the cause of the trouble. Mr. Mutch also referred to the brick turret on the Heartz Hall, which had been broken off during the winter, and said that this WOle not be replaced, as it was unnecessary and acted as

an obstruction to the snow sliding on the roof. In order to make the repairs, it was found necessary to stage the Heartz Hell, and while the staging was up,

attention would be paid to pointing the brick, and screen wiring w0uld also

be placed over the windows. A number of panes had been broken. These would have to be replaced. ‘

Mr. W. McLeod, Chairman of the Janitor's committee, said that he and his Tommittee inspected the pronerty with a view to ascertaining whet’should be

done in the way of cleaning, and they recommended that the social hall and adjoining rooms should be cleaned and calcimined. Mr. Storey had submitted

a price of $45.00. The material would cost about $14.70. It was agreed by the Board that this work should be carried out and the Janitor's Committee

was instructed to have this done.

Mr. W. R. LePage, the Treasurer, informed the Board that from now on the

church would have to pay $1.08 monthly, the employer's portion of the Unemployment Insurance tax, required from our Janitor.

Mr. MacKee, of the Fuel Committee, reported practically no coal on hand at the time, but two carloads of Springhill Screen had been ordered. The price

being $ .25 higher than the last order.

Mr. LePage reported that after all bills passed by this meeting had been paid, there would be an over-draft at the bank of $551.67.

Mr. R. E. Mutch referred to the amount of money at present being paid by the School of Music towards the Organist's salary, rent, etc., and stated that

inasmuch as their revenue from investments was being drastically lowered, they might find it necessary to curtail their expenditure, which would result in additional worries as regards our church financing.
