Mr. Hughes stated that he could see approximately $100. more in sight. The chairman, Mr. Smith, thought that we should pre- sent a true picture of our financial standing to the official board. Mr. R. E. mteh vetoed his objection to the payment being made to the Elm Ave. ounetry. Ir. J. A. )thair said that he would like to see the books balanced and felt that this might be done if an appeal was made from the pulpit. He made a motion which was seconded by 10. llacLeod and passed that the Secretary give Mr. Killer the facts and ask him to make a strong appeal free: the pulpit. for a special collection to wipe out the deficit. Mr. IacNair was authorised to procure envelopes for this special collection md to distribute them in the seats. The chairman then gave his report for the years work. It was move! by Mr. Hutch and seconded by Mr. LePage that the chairman's report be adopted and incorporated in the Year Book with any change made necessary by future events.
