MEETING BOARD OF STEWARDS.

J. A. McKenzie, J. L. Douglas, S. A. McDonald, Sydney T. Green' and P. W. Turner.
Reporting for the Property Committee, Mr. Pickard said that everything was in good shape. In the absense of Mr. Simmons Chairman of the Fuel Committee, Mr. Pickard said that a car of coal had recently been put in, and amount was about $500.00 owing. Col. Davison for Janitor Committee presented a bill from R. E. Mutcfiffor $1.43. A bill for cleaning room under Heartz Hall in the vicinity of $9.00 was ordered paid when certified correct by Col. Davison. Mr. Claud Smith re- porting for Radio breadetafifing Committee said that our radio broadcast is now reduced to a service a day. J. L. Douglas stated on behalf of W. E. Burke that the Moderator'l address Wednesday night would be broadcast. J. A. McKenzie for Light Coruittee reported that he, together with Mr. Mutch and Mr. Pickard, had looked into the matter of necessary repairs and changes to the Electric System and presented a statement from Palmer Electric quoting price of $300.00 as per their letter of Nov. 26th reading as follows:-
In connection with the idea of making an underground installation for the street lights in front of the Church and
Hall, we are prepared to do this work by re~wiring and repair-
ing the four street lights, fitting same with globes and lamps where necessary, and connecting same by underground wiring to a double pole feed switch in basement of Church near the street wall, then connecting same to existing basement circuit.
All the wiring is to be done in lead covered cable and
properly protected from mechanical injury. Our quotation on this ie...........$6o.oo
With regard to the complete re—wiring in armoured cable of all roof space over main body of Church as detailed in Item 1, in our letter of Nov. 16th1982, we are including in this job an addition of wiring to two smaller lights on roof of stairway leading up to gallery and making the present means of entrance to this roof space more accessible by means of new planking and some threstle work, the revised price now being.......... 240.00 ' This makes a total price for these two jobs of......... . 3 0.00 y . Bill of $3.80 from Maritime Electric and Bill or $2.00 from Palmer Electric were ordered aid. J. A. McKenzie suggested that switch for street lights be p aced in the front of the basement.
