     The Model D.S. is quiet in operation, economical in oil consumption, burning the heaviest

     The front page of this folder gives a view of the Model D.S. connected up with a standard 
     
     type Hot Water Boiler. Note that all of the equipment is outside the Boiler. Only the nozzle 
     
     enters the fire door. 
     
    
   
   
    
     Fully Automatic for domestic use, A.C. Motor driven. 
     
    
   
   
    
     Oil delivered to atomizing nozzle by means of self-contained gear pump. Tanks placed 
     
     below level of nozzle, thus doing away with dangers resulting from gravity feed systems. 
     
    
   
   
    
     Atomizing by means of low pressure air with externally atomizing type nozzle. 
     
    
   
   
    
     Ignition is of the electric spark type. Ignition cuts off when fire is established thus prevent— 
     
     ing ratio interference. 
     
    
   
   
    
     Perfect flame adjustments may be made to suit the Boiler of Furnace, thus making for 
     
     efficient combustion, quiet operation, and economy. 
     
    
   
   
    
     In Hot Water Boiler installation, the famous Latch Type Insert is used. In warm air 
     
     furnaces, a special fire door insert is used. 
     
    
   
   
    
     The coal grates remain in Boiler or Furnace. A refractory hearth is built on the grates. 
     
    
   
   
    
     Owing to the initial downward travel of the flame, the hot gases travel practically twice 
     
     through the fire pot, thus offering a greater opportunity for heat absorption. A very low 
     
     stack temperature is maintained with this type of installation. 
     
    
   
   
    
     System may be quickly changed from oil burning to coal or wood burning in emergency. 
     
     An Automatic Damper may be installed in smoke pipe thus retarding the escape of hot gases.
