EV meeting of Session.
The meeting was constituted with prayer led by the Chairman, Rev.Hugh Miller.
On motion J.H.Ayers was appointed Clerk pro tem. PresentzRevs H.Miller and D.Boothroyd,Messers C.H.llack, E.E.Clawson,A.C.Duchemin,R.Finlay,G.F.Hutcheson,A.J.Heartz, H.L.Hardy,Dr.J.C.Houston,W.W.Lord,A.W.Matheson,E.6.McKay,
, H.Newson,W.H.Smith,Ira Shaw,E.W.Webster & J.H.Ayers. Mr.H.Johnston was also present as Clerk of the Roll.
The Chairman presented a bill of $4.70 for copies of'Fellow- ship of Prayer” not paid for through amounts paid in, and 3%: also to xt oomnfifiifih cards ordered. It was by motion ordered the b 1 be approved by the Clerk and passed over to the
Committee of Stewarts for payment.
An appeal from the Protestant Chaplain,Rev.E.A.Spurr,of Dorchester Penitentiary,for suitable reading matter for the inmates,was presented by the Chairman,but because of the cost and the suggestion that the Ladies of the Church (one of the Societies) might possibly undertake the project,the Chairman offered to see the Ladies in the matter.
A communication was also presented from the Canadian Legion ‘throuth T.E.McNutt,requesting Trinity Church to celebrate Saint George's Day§W§dnesday April 25rd,by having specisl addresses and prayers for the Nation at this time of crisis, at the regular prayer meeting. The request was agreed to.
The revising of the Roll was then taken into consideration. It was agreed that each Elder Chairman of a District in con-
junction with one other or his committee,go over the list of members in his District,and elimitating the ones about which ther!.
