The Chairman referred to the matter of relief for the poor among adherents of the church. The City is not giving
' out relief this winter,unless in a limited and quiet way.
He suggested that a committee be appointed from the Sessin 1/7 .to confer with the Kings Daughters,whb now have the control any of the Central Relief Fund,with the object of ascertaining
what assistance might be needed to meet the demands made ’ upon the Church in this way. The meeting agreed to the A

Rev.D.C.Boothroyd said he had lately married a couple,v vis Fred J.Chowan,native of Ontario,in the air force here, to y Betts of Charlottetown,the latter an R.C. but who rished to be received into the membership of this Church, while her husband is already a member of the United Church of Canada in good standing. Upon the recommendation of the
assistant Pastoc ,it was decided by vote to receive her & at next Sunday morning's service.
Rev.D.C.Boothroyd also reported on the Boys Conference recently held in the City. an attendance of about 80 boys ‘ from all over the Province.Three sessions were held on Sahr rday with a banquet in the Social Hall of this Church in
the evening,with an attendance of 100.Was a very successful and encouraging conference throughout.
