mg ‘ pastors? Report To the Members of Trinity Church and Congregation. It is with sincere'gratitude to God that we close the history of our first year'as a United Congregation. From the very beginning we have had many evidences of His approval The utmost harmony anc‘ good will have prevailed, and as the months have gone by there has been a growing interest in every branch of the Church’s work. Large and enthusiastic congregations have regularly greeted the Preacher, and the excellent service of the Organist and. Choir continues to contribute greatly to the effectiveness of our Sabbath worship. The work among the children and Young 'People has been re-organized and is one of great ,promise. During the year twenty-five have been added to the Membership of the Church, nineteen Marriages solemnized, and twenty—three Burials attended. To the sick and the sorrowing we extend our sincere sympathy. Financially, the Church has been able to meet all local expenses with a substantial balance to our credit, and the willingness with which the people raised their proportion of the 'Maintenance and Extension Fund is now a matter of history. ‘We believe that the same generous spirit will continue to actuate us in the years to come, and that while loyally supporting the work at home, we will also be true to the Master’s command, “ Go ye and make disciples of all nations.” Let us never forget that “The first business of the whole Church is to give the Gospel to the whole world.” By a vote of the Congregation TRINITY has been chosen as the name by which_the Church shall henceforth be known, and if with this new name there does but come a new spirit of con- secration to the Church's task, we shall make the future worthy of the best traditions of the past. The Ministers of the Church are grateful for the good will and co-operation of the people; and enter hopefully upon the work of another year, W. M. RYAN, E. H.
