import of the scrrttarg of the Ernst" Buarb During the past two ycais the Board has lost four ofits members by death, namely, Brothers ]. D. Seaman, W. “7. Stanley, L. E I’rowse and George E. Full. Brother Seaman had been most active asa local preacher, and Bible Class teacher ever since his early manhood, and in his later years as leader of teach- er training classes. In connection with the Board itself, be is greatly missed because of his wise counsel and progressive spirit. Brother Stanley had been for many years a pillar in the church he so much loved, in the capacity of Sunday School Superinten- dent, was Secretary of the Board of Trustees from 1904 to 1918, and had always taken a deep interest in the welfare of the church generally. Last December the Church lost a generous supporter when Brother Prowse was taken. In his younger days, he took a keen interest in Sunday School work as Bible Class teacher and later as Superintendent in the former Grace Methodist Church. Brother Full passed suddenly away on April 30th last, after a long life of devoted service for the Kingdom of God. He excell- ed as a. men‘s Bible class teacher, in which capacity he labored for many years in the former First Methodist Church. He was also very deeply interested in the missionary cause, and gave liberally for its support. Brother E. H. Beer’s resignation. which had been tendered at a previous meeting, was very regretfully accepted on October the 9th 1925, and now only sixteen members are left of the original twenty-one appointed at the time of the amalgamation of Grace Methodist with the First Methodist in 1917.
