REPORT OF THE WOMEN’S MISSIONARY SOCIETY The Auxiliary of the Women's Missionary Society of Trinity Church
begs leave to present the following report :—
Membership 228. Of these 154 are annual and 74 life members. Six new members were enrolled during the year.
Regular meetin were held the first Wednesday of each month, and were well attended an interesting. The Watch Tower conducted by members and the Mission Study Class kept us in touch with the needs of our own and other countries.
In June we had the honor of entertaining the Maritime Branch Con- ference of the Women's Missionary Society of the United Church of Canada.
The Au st meeting took the form of a Confederation Rally at the home of Mrs. C. B. happell and the offering added considerably to the funds.
At the October meeting we had as our honored guest Dr. Florence Murray of Korea, and were all editied and inspired by her presence and splendid address.
At the Thank-ofi‘ering meeting in November. Mrs. W. A. Thomson, who was Branch delegate to the Dominion Board at Toronto brought to us the
reasons for thanks Vlng which she found in the reports and addresses of Mis- sionaries at that nference.
We regret the absence of the President, Mrs. W. H Spencer during the last few months of the ear. Since that time the office has been capably filled by the First Vice-Presi ent, Mrs. Thomson.
A box of clothing was sent to the United Mission at Sydney, N. S
We are pleased to report the affiliation of the Willing Circle of King's Daughters with the Auxiliary, and their contribution of $25.00 to the funds.
The Mission Band has seventy-two members and meets each Thursday afternoon. There are five roups with the following leaders:—-Mrs. Lloyd isVllvaz” Miss Pearl Johnson, Mrs. A. R. Gillis, Miss Margaret White, and Miss
. ewsom.
The Baby Branch under the su rintendence of Mrs. J. A. Moore has 41 life and 24 annual members. Tota 65.
We feel that we have real cause for thanksgiving in that we are able to report an increase in interest and that we have exceeded our allocation by $62.84.
Amount raised by Auxiliary $705.54; Mission Band $70.00. Total $775.54.
