ITH the active co-operation of the Provincial and Municipal Officials the very generous support of the Commercial Institutions and rési- dents at large, we are able, at this time, to publish for your daily

reference use, the first Provincial Directory of P.E.I., compiled on the same standards of compilation and appearance as practically all other directories on this continent. This book is now exactly the same in make up as the Directories published for Halifax, Toronto, Boston, New York, ete., and it will be on file in many, of the larger reference libraries in the great commercial centres of this continent, where it is placed by your pub- lishers without charge, as an ambassador of good will and incurring trade relations between P.E.I. and other parts of the world.

We would draw your attention particularly to the fact that the first execution of the book contains complete City Directories for the cities and larger towns on the Island, and that the business Directory or Buyer’s Guide has been completely remodelled and standardized with all other publications, so that persons using this directory for business purposes, in any reference libraries, find it very easy to locate the firm with which they wish to do business in Prince Edward Island. ©
