Florence Lorraine (MacNeill) Harris 
     
    
   
   
    
     : Lorraine was born May 6, 1928, to Velda (Dyment) 
     
     and Raeburn MacNeill. Always a farm girl, 
     
     Lorraine was raised on Maple Ridge Farms in 
     
     Knutsford, P.E.I. then she moved down the road a 
     
    
   
   
    
     bit to farm with her husband Lawrence Harris, after 
     
    
   
   
    
       
     
    
   
   
    
     their marriage on June 10th, 1953. She also had 
     
     taken a secretarial course and worked in the office at the Co-op in O’Leary before 
     
     resigning to becoming a full-time Mom to Corinne, Wendy and Melita. She has 
     
     been active in her church and community over the years, singing at weddings and 
     
     funerals, serving as a Sunday school teacher and treasurer, and Mission Band 
     
     Leader in O’Leary Baptist Church. As well, she was secretary for the Knutsford 
     
     Women’s Institute for many years. Anytime she was convener for any subject, 
     
    
   
   
    
     such as agriculture, etc. it was interesting and well researched. 
     
    
   
   
    
     Involved in the WI for many years she has loved the enduring friendships with the 
     
     other ladies as she served in assisting their efforts in making Knutsford the
