and her husband drove Miss Olive Yeo to the convention. All members were invited to go, but 
     
     only delegates would have had their way paid for. Olive and Vera were fortunate to have known 
     
     a woman who charged them $1 for the night. At conventions new executives were voted in and 
     
     some resolutions were also passed. Below is an original and accurate report, handwritten by Miss 
     
     Olive Yeo. It is so precise and accurate of the day; it was said it could have been written by a 
     
    
   
   
    
     reporter. 
     
     An example of a resolution is: 
     
    
   
   
    
     “Be it resolved that the Prohibition Act be retained and strictly enforced.” A 1945 resolution 
     
     was to be unanimously voted on by all branches. Mrs. Harry Adams of the Knutsford WI
