The July KWI meeting was held at the cottage of Janet and Brian Adams, hostess was Wanda Adams. Roll call was answered with a donation to the hospital which amounted to $20. It was moved and seconded that Harriet MacNeill use the school for a family reunion. There was no Notes and News at the August regular meeting held at the school. However, a letter was received from the provincial government concerning the different way the subsidy of the light will be handled. A non-profit organization could apply for a rebate on energy efficiency program. The ceramic class continues to do well. Florence MacDougall had two humorous readings as her part

of the program.

The September annual meeting of the KWI was held at the school with President Florence MacDougall presiding. A timely devotional was read on reaping a good harvest, presented by Florence. Dues were paid by the 12 members in attendance two others had sent theirs in. Correspondences consisted of P.E.I. Epilepsy Association, Canadian Foundation for the study of infant deaths, Citizen Advocacy on P.E.I., Canadian Mental Health Association, The Arthritis Society, Man in Motion World tour, Operation Mobilization - all had news flashes. Three provincial conveners had news items included as well. All members were encouraged to attend workshops in the fall in Miscouche. There will be an evening on Family First Loving and

Growing at Westisle high school and all are invited to attend.
