This annual award recognizes the signiticant contribution of Island seniors in community life volunteerism, artistic achievement, fundraising, community participation, fitness and recreation, and other activities.
“Island seniors have helped shape our communities and the province that we know today,” said Ernie Hudson, Minister of Social Development and Housing. “This distinguished award serves as thanks and recognition for the valuable knowledge, skill and experience Island seniors contribute each and every day.”
To be eligible for the award, nominees must be: * acurrent resident of Prince Edward Island;
- 65 years of age or older; and
- willing to be nominated.
