Hot Fudge Pudding Cake
Ingredients:
1.25 cups of white sugar divided
1 cup of all-purpose flour
¥2 cup of cocoa, divided
2 tsp. baking powder
Y tsp. salt
2 cup of milk
1/3 cup of butter or margarine
1.5 tsps. vanilla
% cup light brown sugar packed
1.25 cups of hot water and whipped topping is (optional)
Instructions:
1. Heat oven to 350F. Combine % cup of white sugar, flour, 4 cup of cocoa, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla beat until smooth.
2. Spread batter in ungreased 9-inch square pan. Stir together remaining cup of white sugar, brown sugar and remaining 4 cup of cocoa, sprinkle mixture evenly over batter. Pour hot water over top; do not stir.
3. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until center is almost set. Remove from oven;
Let stand 15 minutes. Serve in dessert dishes, spooning sauce from bottom of pan, Garnish with whipped cream if desired. Enjoy
