     After serious consideration, three winners of the scholarships offered by the PEIWI 
     
     were chosen by the Nominations Committee in 2017. 
     
     The successful applicants were: 
     
     ¢ Josée Smallman, Westisle Composite High Schoo! (leff) - PEIW! Education Scholarship 
     
     « Hope Higginbotham, Montague Regional High School (centre) - Helen Herring Scholarship 
     
     * Grace Coles, Bluefield High School (right) - Louise MacMillan Scholarship 
     
    
   
   
    
     Knutsford Women's Institute Award 
     
     Winner 
     
    
   
   
    
     Sam Smallman (son of Nathan and Lisa) received the 
     
     first Knutsford Women's Institute Award for $200; 
     
     given to a deserving student who plans to pursue a 
     
     career related to or in agriculture. 
     
    
   
   
    
     Preference was given to someone from a farm family
