The New London Branch of Woman's Auxiliary was organized October 2, 1907 with members from the three Churches in the parish; st. Thomas', st. urer. There were 52 members recorded on the R011.

meetings were held in St. mark's Guild Hall, Kensington, French River Hall, the Rectory, and in the members homes once a month. Members fees were ten cents and in 1909 doubled to twenty cents.

The first.projects were to make a quilt and to prepare for a handkerchief sale to take place at an.Annual Mite Society Meeting at

French.River. An Autograph quilt was made for an Easter sale but later

given to Mrs. Nicholle.

Bales of clothing were sent to Shingwauk Home, Algoma, Yale school, 5.0., Labrador, Gordon's School, QuAppelle,Blackfoot Indian school, Calgary and Chapleau Home, Ontario. Proceeds from an Auction Sale at French River Hall netted $11.15. At different times, half of

their funds were sent to some Mission field.

Parlor Concerts were held, at which time, a collection would be taken for Missions. Flannel, wadding, lining, cotton and thread were purchased from funds to sew clothing and quilts. Proceeds from an Ice Cream social went to Missionary work in a Columbia Coast Mission. They made many quilts. Some were given.for gifts and others went where needed; in Bales. V
