She came home Monday and on Tuesday was laid to rest in St.Peter*8 Anglioan Church Cemetry. She was a friend to little children,to the elderly, the shut-in,the poor and the needy,For forty years, rain sag* shine she taught your child and mine in Sunday school.A number of those years she collected the children in her little red car.For recreation she took the older person, the shut-in or someone without a car for a drive.Hard working, fcnassuming, and uncomplaining she demonstrated in her own life that she was aware of Man's basic need,to be loved, accepted, and understood. It is said that when"one door oloses another one opens*, Who can,or who will open the door to replace Helen Matthews ? That was in I966 and it is now March, 19731 we former members of St.Peter's W. A* feel no one has been able to take Helen Matthews place. Q1 r- 11
