The Junior W.A. functioned until shortly before the Woman's Auxiliary was organized 1917. It was not until September 6, 1954 that a Junior Auxiliary again became part of Woman's Work at

St. Elizabeth's with Mrs. Herbert Profitt as the capable and very dedicated leader. Although the branch membership was small, the girls and boys were eager and willing. They received: prizes and honourable mention in the Dominion J.A. Competitions in which they participated.

St. Elizabeth's Branch of the Woman's Auxiliary was organized at the home of Mrs. H. Binney Haslam on March 15, 1917. The following officers were elected:

Honorary Presidents: Mrs. Benjamin Haslam and Mrs. M.J. Abbott

President: Miss Matilda Haslam First Vice—Pres: Mrs. Everett Haslam Second Vice—Pres: Mrs. H. Binney Haslam Treasurer: Miss Agness Haslam Secretary: Miss Muriel Haslam

Other charter members were Mrs. Benjamin Howard, Miss Emily

Livingstone and MacArthur Nursing Home.
