In return for their co-operation in moving the Methodist Chapel from Crapaud, The Orangenen were given the gallery or upper section of the buildinc for their lodge room. A strict and binding agreee ment was sinned with the Church which cuaranteed
peaceful entry and full possession and ownership.
The Church demanded in turn that, should lodge night conflict with tins of prayer meeting below, all Oraneenent conduct their business without 'undue noiee' further; - that the lodge room 'never be used‘ for any gathering of a vein or frivolous nature'.
