At the Annual General Meeting of the Congregation of St. James’ Church, Parish of ‘ Richmond, held on Tuesday the 25th of May 1847, as required by Law, The Rev’d Mr. Cooper ‘ in the Chair. Resolved that Niel McLean be appointed Vestry Clerk for the ensuing year. 2 On Motion unanimously Resolved that the following Gentlemen be appointed Members of Vestry for the following year viz Mr. J .E.I. Bagnall Mr. George Ellis James Yeo Esq. Mr. Thomas Birch Mr. John Ellis Mr. John England Mr. A.C. Bickford Mr. James Craswell Wardens Mr. Thomas Birch Mr. John England 3 Resolved that the Corporation be requested to secure Tenders for the performance of the office of Sexton for the ensuing Year. 4 Resolved that the sum of Two shillings and six pence per annum be levied on the Pews, subject to the Annual Rent in St. James’ Church, as Ground Rent. 5 Resolved that the Rev.
