At Lot 11 the work of the new church is still progressing. The outside is completed with the exception of painting the roof and one coat on the walls. The building thus far has cost something over fourteen hundred dollars, of which sum about one hundred and fifty dollars is required to square all accounts. It is the intention of the committee to proceed with the work on the interior as soon as they are assured of the sum of four hundred dollars. This congregation is to be commended for the spirit in which they have entered into this work and deserve the sympathy and help of all church loving people. A large sum of money is still required for the completion of this church and the committee will thankfully receive any contribution that may be sent to them. Work on the new construction progressed favorably during the ensuing year, and it was hoped to have the church ready for opening in the summer of 1913. However, it was not until the following year that Henry W. Williams completed another masterpiece. St.Peter’s Church in Foxley River, Lot 11. During its construction, well—attended services were held in Freeland Hall. 48
