REV. T.B. REAGH 1882 - 1883 Rev. T.B. Reagh was born in 1848 at Middleton, Nova Scotia. He came to Port Hill after serving in the Parish of New London. Rev. Reagh preached at the opening of the new St. Mark’s Church in Kensington. He, his wife, and seven daughters were the first occupants of
St. Mark’s Rectory which was completed in 1882. Rev. Reagh’s ministry in the Parish of Port Hill was rather short. He returned for a
special service on St. John’s Day, December 27, 1889, when the masons of Alexandra Lodge attended divine service in St. James’ Church. At this service he is said to have preached "a very thoughtful and impressive sermon, showing the beauties and the benefits of the Masonic Institution, at the same time urging his brethren to so labor that they may be found as living stones in that house not made with hands, eternal in the Heavens".
Rev. T.B. Reagh died on August 26, 1914 at his home in Milton, Prince Edward Island. Excerpts from his death announcement in The Maple Leaf read as follows:
He was one of the outstanding figures in the ministerial work of Queen’s County, and was beloved by all to whom he ministered, as well as those with whom he came into contact. The late Archdeacon regarded his people as his especial care. He shared their joys and their sorrows, and they regarded him as their friend,
advisor and true shepherd.
