CENTENNIAL PRAYER PALMER ROAD 1992 OF THANKS

Lord, we celebrate this year the 100th anniversary of our beautiful church, built by our ancestors.

We thank you for those who have left us this monument of faith: Anglophones and Acadians, they built together this beautiful parish.

Thank you Lord, for the unity we feel in your love.

Thank you for today’s parishioners, for the generous giving of so many that helps form an alive and active community of faith.

Thank you for our bishops, priests, religious and seminarians who gave of themselves for the good of all, during those 100 years.

Thank you for our farmers and fishers, our workers, teachers and all those who help them.

Thank you for our mothers and fathers, our brothers and sis— ters and our friends. V

Thank you for the freedom to live in our beautiful Island, free to pray and serve you.

Thank you for all the musical talent of so many, for our choirs and organists.

Thank you for the two principal cultures present in our com— munity, they help us have an open heart to the different races and cultures of our world.

We address our thanks to you in the name of Jesus, our broth- er and our Lord. Amen.
