Pastor's Message

I am pleased to offer my sincere congratulations to the parish of Palmer Road on the occasion of the centenary of its church. The parish is older, as the present church is the second used by the peo- ple. In the 1860's, mass was celebrated in the homes of the area, then known as the St. Thomas Mission, served by the Parish of Tignish.

Today's anglophone and francophone parishoners are justly proud of the faith received from their ancestors, and continue to take good care of the temple of God built with love one hundred years ago. ‘

Many thanks to all those who have given of their time and energy towards these celebrations, an important event in the life of the Parish. Happy celebrationsl
