     Honored at this time were all past—presidents of the Prince Edward 
     
     Island Women’s Institute Board who were in attendance and former 
     
     supervisors of the Women’s Institutes. Many spoke briefly, commenting 
     
     on the continuing vigor and stamina of this sixty year old organization. 
     
     All local Women’s Institutes who celebrated their sixtieth anniversary in

     A stimulating address by the Premier, Honourable Alexander B. 
     
     Campbell, ended in a dramatic way when he surprised everyone with the 
     
     presentation of the Premier’s Award for outstanding citizenship and 
     
     community service to Mrs. Florence Matheson, Mrs. Helen Herring, 
     
     Mrs. Louise Marchbank and Mrs. Leone Ross. 
     
    
   
   
    
     The year continued with Convention areas or groups of Institutes 
     
     carrying out special Jubilee projects. With renewed vigor and optimism, 
     
     everyone looks forward to the Seventy-fifth Year of Women’s Institute on
