The Hospitality Committee was responsible for organizing daily breaks for the delegates and serving hot and cold juices with :rackers, cheese and dozens of cookies supplied by local W.I. Branches.

These committees met from time to time with the National President, Mrs. Ellen McLean, who gave excellent guidance to all in their duties. Also, many meetings were held with Mr Arnold MacLean, Manager of Residences of U.P.E.I., who greatly assisted them in their preparation at the University.

Registration of 494 delegates and 135 day visitors was a busy job and was made even heavier by the air strike which began as the delegates were due to arrive. Florence Matheson is to be commended for keeping everything smooth in the midst of cancellations, changes in time of arrivals, refunds of money etc.
