who used the lower floor as a garage and repair shop, and remodeled the upper floor into an apartment for himself and his family. Raymond Wood purchased the building when the Butler family moved and used the lower floor for potato storage and the upper apartment for rental accommodation. Frank Kohout and his family lived in the apartment after they lost their home by fire in 1958. The apartment was used to house workers who helped Raymond Wood harvest his potato crop, and George and lone Wood lived in the apartment for a short time. This building is still standing in 1992 and is used for storage.

Farmers now send whole milk to the dairies. Each farm has a milk quota and a truck visits the farm every second day to collect the milk and to deliver it to either a milk processor or a dairy. Amalgamated Dairies Limited is still a provincial processor making butter, cheese, and ice cream. Separating is no longer done on the farm.

North Tryon has three dairies delivering milk door to door: Maple Leaf Dairies from Summerside, Health Dairy from Rennies Road, and Garden City from Charlottetown. Milk is now in metric sized plastic bags instead of the pint and quart glass bottles. There are no dairy herds in North Tryon in 1992. Richard Newsome was the last farmer to have a dairy herd and delivered his cream to the Crapaud Creamery until 1976.
