Many North Tryon Institute members have been honoured with Life Memberships in the organization. The requirement for Life Member— ship is to have completed twenty years of dedicated and active service to the organization. A nomination is forwarded from a local branch to the provincial board who must approve the submission. A certificate, signed by the provincial president, and a pin are sent to the local branch to be presented to the member.
