Ruth's team, made up of Louise Thomson , mate; Mabel Gardiner , second; and Gertrude Ferguson , lead; represented the Island in Kenora, Ontario , in 1989. Elayne Thomson skipped the Senior Ladies team with Audrey Inman as mate; Mabel Gardiner , second; and Annetta Walsh , lead, at the National competition in Nipawin, Saskatch¬ ewan, in 1992.
