Charles was raised by his grandparents Thomas and Ellen Dawson, and took the Dawson name. Charles went to the States to work following the birth of their children and May stayed on Prince Edward Island and raised their family. Charles returned to Tryon several years before May’s

death.

Lewis Hamilton b. 14June 1901, d. 3June 1977, bur. California, m. 29 July 1925 Virgil Mary Kyker, b. 29 Feb 1904, California. They had 2 children: Lillian May; Lewis Bert.

John T. lived and farmed on the Crossroad where Vance Dixon now resides. John T. and Lavina had no children. They were members of the Tryon United Church.
