David moved to Cape Wolfe , Lot 7, in 1841, where he operated mills and built brigs, barques and one schooner. David had a private tutor for his children when the 1841 census was taken. Two of David's daughters married MacNeil men who were of the Roman Catholic faith. These boys had boarded with David and Sarah while they learned the mill trade.
