Harold Roy b. 10 Dec 1913, d. 28 July 1969, bur. North Tryon Presbyterian Cem., son of Brechen Simmons and Mary Moase, 1st. m. Lulu Yeo. They had 5 children: Keith R; Kenneth; Clarence; Norman; Blanche m. Frank Haslam. Harold 2nd. m. 17 June 1965 Jean Eliza Muirhead Sa- muels, b. 28 July 1913, d. 2 May 1983, bur. North Tryon Presbyte- rian Cem., daughter of _, , William Muirhead and ‘ Mary Ellen Francis. They had no children. See Muirhead history.

Harold and Lulu had a farm in North St. Eleanors’ which be- came part of the Cana- dian Forces Base when it was built in 1940. They moved to Summerside East at this time where they continued as farmers and also operated a roadside stand which in 1992 is owned by Waugh’s. Harold andJean lived on the Muirhead land where they built a restaurant.
