Jane Clara Janie b. 8 Nov 1912, daughter of Wellington Thomas and Grace Molyneaux, m. 14 Nov 1947 Edwin Crossman, b. Cape Traverse, 27 Oct 1915, son of Charles Crossman and Ada Rose.

Janie and Edwin lived in Cape Traverse, retiring to Crapaud. They had no children.

William, son ofJohn Thomas and Elizabeth Leard, lst. In. Feb 1832 Jane Brundage; William 2nd. m. 7 Apr 1853 Elizabeth Pooley, daughter of Thomas and Mary Pooley.

The William Thomas farm was the last property on the Crossroad within the North Tryon School District. From William the property passed to his son, William. One of the Thomas daughters, Norine, and her husband, Burpee Carr, moved from the Sawler farm to the Thomas home in the early 1930s to live with Flora following William’s death. The farm was sold to Eric Robinson after the Carrs moved to SaintJohn and the main part of the house was sold to Myron Dawson who moved it to his property. This building was later moved to Augustine Cove and is now the Fraser Thompson residence. The other part of the house was sold to Vance Dixon to be used for lodging for potato pickers. The farm is owned by Ingleside Farms in 1992
