to the Cairns house in North Tryon . Allie worked at the Riverside Hospital as an orderly. They purchased the William Pooley house in 1955. Allie died suddenly inl956 and his brother, Clifford, helped Ester finish the renovations to the Pooley house. Garnet and Eleanor, who lived back of the Ives property, moved to the Pooley house and cared for Ester in her later years. Ester and Allie had no children. Garnett was a truck driver and worked for Eric Robinson for many years. Eleanor was a great worker, and enjoyed doing general farm and housework. She also clerked at Dixon's Clover Farm Store . Eleanor and Garnet had no children. Esther Foy left her property to her son, Garnet. Eleanor lived in the house until her sudden death in 1987.
