pleasant recreation, and secondly, to the long established repu¬ tation of the ladies and gentlemen of the parish in conducting successful tea parties. As the coming tea party will mark the interior completion of the magnificent new church which has been in course of con¬ struction for over a year; no efforts will be spared to make it worthy of such an important event. Indeed, the opportunity which the tea party will afford visitors of inspecting this really imposing Romanesque church structure will more than satisfy them, apart altogether from the numerous other attractions which are being prepared for their entertainment. Should Saturday the 13th of July prove unfavorable, the tea party will be held on Monday the 15th or the first fine day following." The architect was a man named Creamer ( Bernard Creamer ). In the records at St. Ann 's there is a note concerning a visit by Bishop Henry O'Leary in 1913.
