     A By-law to establish Rules of Order to regulate 
     
     the proceedings of the City Council of the 
     
     City of Charlottetown and in the commit- 
     
     tees thereof. 
     
    
   
   
    
     THE City Council of the City of Charlotte— 
     
    
   
   
    
     town enacts as follows :— 
     
    
   
   
    
     The following Rules and Regulations shall Rules and

     lations for the Order and Despatch of Business 35;“333’311’9’ 
     
     in the City Council of the City of Charlottetown, 
     
    
   
   
    
     and in the committees thereof. 
     
    
   
   
    
     COUNCIL MEETINGS. 
     
    
   
   
    
     1. There shall be in each year twelve 
     
     monthly meetings of the said Council, which 225%”, 
     
     shall be held on the second Monday in each ““3 00‘1““ 
     
     month, in each and every year, and the said 
     
     meetings shall not, at any one time, be held for 
     
     a longer period than three successive days, in 
     
     which Sundays, Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, 
     
     Christmas, and the First ofjuly, shall not be 
     
    
   
   
    
     included. 
     
    
   
   
    
     2. In all meetings of the said Council, the 
     
     majority of the members present at such meet- £255,13th 
     
     ings shall determine all questions and matters 
     
     submitted to, or under the consideration of the 
     
     said Council : provided that the number present 
     
     at the said meetings be not less than five Coun- 
     
     cillors, and at all such meetings the Mayor of the Quorum
